Nous sommes SNAK, un duo de sérigraphie composé d’Eliot Brown & Loan Bontron. Nous avons découvert la sérigraphie ensemble à Montréal, où nous avons beaucoup pratiqué et construit les bases de notre approche commune. Cette période a été déterminante dans le développement de notre regard, de notre méthode et de notre rapport à l’impression artisanale.

De retour à Genève, nous avons monté notre premier atelier au sein d’un studio et collectif d’artistes, avant d’intégrer l’atelier de l’association Dorozophile à Kugler. C’est là, aux côtés de Madame et Christian Humbert Droz, que nous continuons d’affiner et de développer notre pratique, animés par une passion partagée pour la sérigraphie et l’expérimentation graphique.

Nous sommes spécialisés dans la sérigraphie grand format sur papier. Nous réalisons des tirages d’art, des affiches, des micro-éditions, des fanzines, des éditions collectives, des auto-éditions et des projets collaboratifs. Chaque projet est pensé comme un objet imprimé à part entière, avec une attention particulière portée aux matières, aux encres et aux gestes.

En dehors de nos projets personnels et des initiatives que nous lançons nous-mêmes, nous choisissons soigneusement les mandats que nous acceptons. Cette liberté nous permet de rester fidèles à notre vision, à notre exigence et à une pratique de la sérigraphie à la fois artisanale, engagée et contemporaine.

Who we are — SNAK SHOP (First person)

We are SNAK, a screen-printing duo formed by Eliot Brown and Loan Bontron. We discovered screen printing together in Montreal, where we practiced extensively and built the foundations of our shared approach. This period played a key role in shaping our visual language, methods, and relationship to printmaking.

After returning to Geneva, we set up our first workshop within a studio and artists’ collective, before joining the workshop of the Dorozophile Association at Kugler. Working alongside Madame and Christian Humbert Droz, we continue to refine and develop our practice, driven by a shared passion for screen printing and graphic experimentation.

We specialize in large-format screen printing on paper. Our work includes art prints, posters, micro-editions, fanzines, collective editions, self-published works, and collaborative projects. Each project is conceived as a complete printed object, with particular attention paid to materials, inks, and the physical gestures of printing.

Alongside our personal projects and self-initiated releases, we carefully select the commissions we take on. This freedom allows us to stay true to our vision, our standards, and a screen-printing practice that is both contemporary and deeply rooted in craftsmanship.

Chaque pièce est pensée comme un objet imprimé à part entière, où l’attention portée aux encres, aux papiers et aux gestes fait partie intégrante du résultat final.

En parallèle de leurs projets personnels et des initiatives qu’ils lancent eux-mêmes, Eliot et Loan sélectionnent avec soin les mandats qu’ils acceptent. Cette démarche volontaire leur permet de rester fidèles à leur vision, à leur rythme de travail et à une pratique de la sérigraphie à la fois engagée, expérimentale et profondément artisanale.
